A maternity session in San Francisco is a memory you will always cherish. With so many locations to choose from, expectant mom, Louisa wanted to celebrate the magical views of the Pacific Ocean from Land’s End trail. With the haunting cypress trees and views in every direction, this made for a magical portrait session. I loved her chic lemon colored dress, a perfect compliment to the blue hues of the ocean and sky. a maternity session is an incredible way to embrace your new identity as a mother and celebrate this new phase of life with loved ones. You’ll have the perfect opportunity to slow down and savor those tiny kicks and flips, all while your photographer captures gorgeous images of you before you meet your baby. These sessions are also a wonderful way to connect with your spouse at a time when most of the attention is probably focused on you and your baby. In fact, a great maternity session should feel like a date night, complete with lots of laughter, snuggles and kisses between you and your partner. At the northwestern corner of San Francisco, there is wild and windy trail with stunning views at every turn… Lands End’s trails winds their way around rocky cliffs above the ocean, moving through shady stands of cypress and eucalyptus and emerging on to spectacular views of the shore, headlands, and Golden Gate. A trip down the trail is also a journey through the history of Lands End, offering glimpses of the past at every turn. Some cool history for this location. The Spanish named Lands End’s westernmost promontory “Point Lobos,” for the many lobos marinos (sea wolves, a.k.a. sea lions) that once hauled up on the rocks offshore. With views of shipwrecks of old and access to the ruins of Sutro baths, Lands End is a site of some of San Francisco’s special memories.
