Raw, emotional,

melt-your-heart moments

Whether this is your first baby or your fifth, every child is unique. As a St. Louis newborn photographer, I come to you, anywhere across the St. Louis metro. Soon their personality will start to show, they'll be talking and walking in no time, and before you know it they'll have grown up in the blink of an eye. But for now, cherish this special time with your baby.

Your baby’s life is just beginning. Never forget the start of their journey.

Newborn portraits might seem impossible—you never know what a baby will do, right? But with a little trust, a lot of patience, and tender care, your newborn portraits will be filled with rosy cheeks, little tiny fingers, and irresistible smiles that’ll make you fall in love with your baby all over again.

"Our newborn session with Christina was such a wonderful experience. She was patient, kind, and made our family feel completely at ease. The photos are beautiful, timeless, and perfectly capture this special season of our lives. We couldn't be happier!"

If you’re ready to move forward I’ll send you an electronic booking agreement to sign. This contract, plus a Booking Fee that’s due when we schedule your newborn portrait session, will hold your place on my calendar.

3. Let’s Take Some Photos

I'll arrive at our photo session location (most likely your own home, anywhere across the St. Louis metro, from Clayton and Kirkwood to Webster Groves and St. Charles) for a 60-minute newborn session. We want your photos to be natural and candid, and I'll walk you through the day every step of the way to make sure you and your baby have a great experience.

4. Your Newborn Gallery Is Ready

I’ll send you your live newborn portrait gallery no later than 2 weeks after our photo session. I’m more than happy to suggest digital prints, albums, or wall art to display your photos. Keep in mind the prints, albums, and wall art will be sold separately from the booking fee for your session.

FAQ

When should I book a newborn photographer in St. Louis?

Ideally during your second trimester. I hold a flexible window around your due date and we confirm the exact day once your baby arrives. Classic sleepy-newborn photos happen in the first two weeks, but relaxed at-home sessions are beautiful up to six weeks and beyond.

Do newborn photos happen at home or in a studio?

Most of my St. Louis newborn sessions happen in your own home: natural light, your nursery, zero packing for you. I photograph across the whole metro, including Clayton, Ladue, Kirkwood, Webster Groves, Chesterfield and St. Charles.

What if my baby cries or will not sleep during the session?

Completely normal, and never a problem. Sessions are unhurried, with built-in pauses for feeding, soothing and diaper changes. Awake babies make wonderful photos too. Those wide dark eyes studying your face are some of my favorite frames.

Is everything kept clean and safe for my newborn?

Always. Wraps and props are freshly laundered between sessions, hands are sanitized, and baby's safety and comfort lead every pose.

Can siblings and pets be in the newborn photos?

Please bring them. A big sister meeting the baby for the first time, or the family dog inspecting the bassinet, is the kind of frame you will still care about in twenty years. We photograph siblings early in the session while attention spans last.

How much does a newborn session cost in St. Louis?

Pricing depends on session type and any prints or albums you would like. Reach out while you are expecting and I will send current details.

A Little About Me

I bring so much more than a camera to your session. I show up with a passion for seeing the things you might be too busy to see at the moment; the incredible love your family shares as it grows. Those little fingers and toes, the way your child feels when she falls asleep on your shoulder and the joy you take in sharing this experience with your partner.
