Newborn Photography San Francisco Bay Area | Baby Amabel

As a newborn photographer in the San Francisco Bay Area, sometimes I have the special pleasure of photographing the babies of dear friends. This is such a case. I have been friends with new mom, Marlene, for years. She’s the best hair stylist ever, ya’ll! A few years ago, I started hearing about a handsome new guy she was dating, Jorge. Soon enough, I got the great news of their engagement and had the pleasure of photographing their wedding at City Hall in San Francisco. And as you can guess, she was blessed soon after with a bun in the oven. Welcome to the world, Amabel!

We took a casual approach to this newborn session and relaxed in their stylish Oakland home. I love how they gaze at their new daughter and show such affection for eachother as well. Amabel is so beautiful, and I’m thrilled how we caught her tiny personality. At seven months or so, we will photograph her sitting up and giggling. And at about 14 months, she will have her standing session. What a year filled with milestones. Congratulations to Marlene and Jorge on your beautiful family!
