Oakland Photographer | Joyner Family

As an Oakland photographer, I love exploring my city’s unique environments. This year, I’ve talked several families into choosing the warehouse districts as the setting for their family portraits. We start with a chat about a cool location and then look at wardrobe and colors that will create a modern set of images. Deidre is a dear friend, and I have been lucky to photograph her family for several years. I love seeing how the kids change and try to convey their personalities. I still force parents to attack the brood with love which is always hilarious. Not funny now, but hysterical later in life! Hahahahha.
