Holiday Portrait Session in Oakland

These twin girls are real! They are not a dream! Pinch yourself! Ok, yes, I’m totally obsessed with this family. Mom called me over the Thanksgiving holiday to make portraits of her immediate family and visiting grandparents. It’s so satisfying to make images of generations that will only become more valuable over time. We made these portraits at the beautiful Dunsmuir Mansion in Oakland. The light was sparkling and the grounds are lush. A perfect combination for a special holiday portrait session. I love that we were able to combine traditional portraits with a modern editorial style. Thank you again, it was such a pleasure!
