My fall has been filled with incredible moments celebrating families like yours across the beautiful Bay Area—from San Francisco to Palo Alto, Oakland to Walnut Creek, and everywhere in between. But these portrait sessions have been about so much more than just capturing the perfect photo.

Let me share why…

Many of my clients from cities like Berkeley, San Jose, Marin County, and the Peninsula come to me because they want to freeze a little piece of what they love about their family in this moment. That doesn’t always mean life is smooth sailing.

I’ve heard stories of major life changes and struggles from families in Pleasanton, Fremont, and beyond. While the stories are often heartbreaking, they’re also deeply inspiring. I’m in awe of the strength and resilience parents show as they press on, surrounding their kids with love and creating beautiful moments amidst the chaos.

Having your photos taken is a personal experience. It’s about sharing your family’s dynamics and allowing yourself to be vulnerable so we can capture authentic, candid moments. As someone who is honored to hear your stories and witness your journeys—whether in the heart of Silicon Valley or along the quiet hills of Livermore—I just want to say how humbled I am to play a small part in preserving these memories.
