What a privilege is it for me to photograph a family year after year. I get to document the beauty of change and depth of connection. It’s fun to change up the locations, as well, where we choose to photograph, so this year we headed to the beaches in Alameda. It was ideal for Juliana and Teddy to play in the waves, run on the sand and just be kids. Photographing how parents and children interact is so special. The kisses, touches and caresses. I always want my portraits to be casual, authentic and relaxed, as a mirror to real life.
