This rural Bay Area family portrait session features the Addiego Family at their ranch in the East Bay. What fun it was for me to capture these moments in the their lives as they play with goats and run wild. The property offers so much freedom and possibility. The 3 children take turns caring for the chickens, goats and dogs and get plenty of rough and tumble playtime each day. Although it’s only 20 minutes (without traffic!) to San Francisco, the Addiego Family enjoy a rustic lifestyle, perfect for their lively personalities. This East Bay portrait session was a joy for me!
These Berkeley family portraits took place in Tilden Park. I have had the great fortune of photographing the Schurter Family for several years. This allows me to see the kids grow, change and start developing their darling personalities. I just finished designing a beautiful heirloom album for the family, I am so excited that they will be able to enjoy it for years to come! Check out those baby blues!
Ellen is a mom of two accomplished and wonderful teenagers. Her son, Jon, is already living away at college and her daughter, Asiana, will soon be following in his footsteps. So, Ellen wanted to seize the opportunity for an updated family portrait. What a time in all of their lives to celebrate and create beautiful images they will cherish. We created a beautiful wood grain wall portrait for Ellen’s home, it fits her style perfectly. Thanks to Ellen and the kids for a wonderful experience! Christina
It has been such a pleasure to be the Joyner Family’s photographer for many years. Deidre began as my wonderful realtor (check her out here) and turned into a special friend. She truly appreciates photography and invests in portraits each year. In addition, she is always up to trying new and cool locations. This time, she suggested Middle Harbor Shoreline Park. What a great find! I loved having the Port’s cranes in the composition and a wonderful view of San Francisco, as well. It’s been so great seeing the kids grow-up over the years and I can’t wait for next year!
I was so excited to learn that I was going to have a mother son portrait session! Julia is a wonderful realtor at Red Oak Realty in Oakland and wanted to update her professional portraits. We decided it would also be a great opportunity to have an updated session with her son, Kyree. I love working with my subjects together, separately, have them change wardrobes and photograph in a variety of locations and light. I’m so glad Julia has these memories, I know Kyree is growing-up fast and will soon be off on many exciting adventures.
